CRAZY BEAR

The Crazy Bear hotel is somewhere I have wanted to go to for a while now, so I was delighted when Tom surprised me by taking me there for my birthday. I believe they are in a few different locations, but we went to the Beaconsfield one.

I was really surprised about the location of it, as we had literally drove past the hotel because we hadn’t noticed it. I had envisioned it being its own sort of establishment surrounded by land (no idea why) that’s just what I had expected. But I liked the fact that it gave off a mysterious and low key vibe.

We were greeted at the door by a glass of champagne each, and were given a tour around the estate while they took our bags. We were then taken to our room which did not disappoint. Every inch of this place just screams luxury. The room that we were staying in was one of the rooms that they completely re renovated so it was brand new. The door opened and you could smell the new leather. The entire floor was made of leather, the walls and ceiling were made from crushed velvet-I had never seen anything like it. We had more champagne waiting for us too 🙂

The bathroom didn’t have a door- it had a fancy curtain from the bedroom which you opened and stepped into the bathroom ( which I think is my favourite part of the room) black and gold EVERYTHING. Verryyyyy impressive.

We went to the Thai restaurant there which is part of the hotel but is a separate building a couple of doors down. The restaurant was really quirky too, and along the same lines (velvet walls etc). We had a lovely meal! Then after we went to the bar back at the hotel. The bar was really cool, and had fake animal heads and other fascinating decor all over.

I’m so glad we finally got to go, I loved it! I would definitely recommend going if you’ve got a special occasion coming up, as it really is unlike any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
