‘Tale As Old As Time’ Afternoon Tea

Finding ideas of what to do for your birthday can be tricky, so when my sister found this Afternoon Tea I was so excited. We decided to do it for both of our birthdays, as we know how quickly the months go by!

Afternoon tea is ALWAYS a good idea!

We both absolutely love everything to do with Disney- especially Beauty And The Beast. So this Tale As old as Time Afternoon Tea sounded like heaven to us!

It was in a cute boutique style café, and when we arrived were surprised to have own little private room!  The lovely lady who organised it for us, brought out some hot cheese and ham croissants, and a pot of tea each, and explained to us what the table consisted of.

It was honestly one of the most delicious afternoon teas I’ve had, as all of the food was things that I love, like baked camembert with crackers, breaded mushrooms and crunchy veg!

Then the sweet section was just amazing! I mean look at those cakes! My favourite food was the grey cheesecake, as I’m sure anyone who has watched Beauty and The Beast will know the reference- ‘Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious’ and Lumiere wasn’t lying, it really was delicious

Ummm the cutest thing EVER ^

I would 100% go back to try some of their other themed menus… I did see a Harry Potter one and we all know how I feel about that! The menus are all different to line up with the theme, so for the little Mermaid one, I think there was some sea food incorporated! Literally the cutest thing ever, we absolutely loved it- and for £25pp you can’t go wrong! They even gave us goody bags for the cakes that we didn’t manage to eat.
